Going back to the basics...
McKylah has a horrible diaper rash as a result of her teething, and her diapers are only making it worse. Therefore, I am going back to the basics; CLOTH DIAPERS!!!! Oddly I already have a ton on hand (long story) for her to wear. This is just a temporary thing until it clears up. But until then I have a felling I am going to hate my life!!!! But on the bright side how stinkin cute does she look in them? If anyone has any recommendations of any ointments I would love to hear. I have tried all of the traditional ones, and it still looks horrible. :(

Love the cloth diaper. You are a trooper. As far as diaper rash - I just took Sarah to her baby well check and she had a diaper rash. The doctor actually prescribed an ontiment because if the diaper rash is caused by a yeast infection or something the normal diaper rash ontiments won't work.
have you tried good old fashioned corn starch instead of powder? always worked wonders for my kids. Also, I could only use pampers on both my kids the other brands, especially white cloud gave them horrible rashes. and have you tried Dr. Smith's Butt Paste!??! It is pretty pricey, you can buy it at Walgreens but it works the best of anything I've tried. I swear by it.
yeah-I like the Butt Paste too! She's lookin dang cute in that diapie though!! oh--I put Rissa in an oatmeal bath one time, too and that actually did her a lot of good! Good luck
Everyone else beat me to the Butt Paste recommendation. Good stuff. We are using cloth diapers on Eden and I love them! Newborn poops aren't too bad to deal with though. We used cloth on Lia for awhile too (just a few months ago) and that was really gross. ugh. Good luck.
